my definitive game of the year list in no particular order - Overwatch - Fire Emblem - Dark Souls - Pokemon - Hitman - Zero Time Dilemma - Uncharted 4 - Stardew Valley - Dragon Quest Builders - Rhythm Heaven Megamix - Tomb Raider - Tokyo Mirage Sessions?? - Picross in general I haven't played enough FFXV yet + did not buy Titanfall/D4thM/Dishonored 2/Last Guardian I also thought Mirror's Edge 2/Deus Ex were fun

I hope I remember this in 2017. I paid full price for DE:MD and I regret it. Not as much as I regret pre-ordering No Man's Sky the day before release though. GOTY: Witcher 3 + Expacs Doom Dark Souls 3 Hitman Dishonored 2 Titanfall 2 Multiplayer I also played a whole bunch of games from previous years that I never played, and am currently loving Metro 2033. I may actually finish my backlog by mid next year. Maybe.

I don't think I've played even 5 games that got released in 2016. It's been backlog or games that are getting released now but actually came out in other countries earlier like Cold Steel 2.

Games I Really Liked From 2016 in no order: Final Fantasy XV Hitman Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE The Witness Overwatch Titanfall 2 Stardew Valley DOOM Dark Souls 3 The Witcher I feel like there were some indie games that I enjoyed that I'm forgetting about, sorry guys. I also played a lot of pinball on Steam, probably more in The Pinball Arcade or Pinball FX2 than most of the games above.

Food porn can often seem really juvenile, like a kid at a buffet stacking up all their favourite foods on top of each other because how could a combo of my favourite things not be better than any of them individually? Or that part in Elf where he pours maple syrup and marshmallows and stuff on his spaghetti.
