I hope she says yes. We just bought a house together so the risk she doesn't is probably limited.

I liked the first 2 (really could just be 2 parts of one book). Not loving vol 3 so far.

Still in progress, obviously.

She got a last minute booking with Geary Morrill, I was stunned and skeptical because she has a massive needle phobia but apparently the desire for a tattoo overcame that.

Very nice, I like.

I gotta get back, I wanna get a little equality sign somewhere.

Hmm - the premise is great, but the story devolves in The Bold and Beautiful type of setting - family members getting it on / trying to kill / rescuing each other, big revelations at the end of each book and scenes that must have accompanied by a bunch of psychedelics. Still, it's a cult series, incorporating both science fiction and fantasy in Zelazny's fashion; the writing is simple and the story progresses fast. Bear in mind as well, that the earliest book was written in '70s (but it has aged remarkably well) - all together: YMMV.

It's first purchase for a long long time that I'm very happy with, retiring my old, "legal to drive" wallet.

Well yes buying an old pen because you think you're Mad Men is simply childish whereas a poseable skeleton is very useful for many possible applications.
