The cat doesn't deserve to die, but the owners definitely should keep a closer eye on it around their spastic child. If he really does have autism then I'm sure this isn't the first time he's pissed off the cat so they should have known better. And even if he has autism, he can learn how to not provoke the cat.

Plenty of pictures of him being spoiled. He's a jerk. Seriously. This is not the only person he's attacked. The bolded part is mine. And it's also a lie: you can see as plain as day on the video that this guy going spastic is what got the cat agitated. The cat freaks out, tracks back, and then runs up to the guy and pauses a bit so it can attack. It didn't plan poo poo, it was doing that thing cats do to make sure they can gently caress you up because you upset them. Hell, even the dog was all like 'are you sure this is a PS4, that's not a normal reaction at all.' Added bonus of calling out the guy as being from Georgia, so he's no longer just possibly a disabled man, but a shining example of Dixie.

If he really does have autism then I'm sure this isn't the first time he's pissed off the cat so they should have known better. The cat kicked his rear end so hard he needed stitches, lmbo. But then they made up. Apparently the guy is not impaired, he was just acting over excited as a joke. The cat is known to be a jerk who has attacked before. Now maybe it's just me, but if you know your cat is a jerk, why not keep his nails trimmed? It's not hard. I mean, it's probably harder if you wait until the cat is an adult with a taste for blood, but it is doable. I've been doing it since I was a kid and at least half a dozen cats have put up with me giving them manicures. It doesn't totally eliminate scratches, but it makes them much less serious.

But if the cat has two inch scimitars at the end of each toe maybe consider trimming his nails. Or getting something to help wear them down. Or those dumb rubber tips. e: Also should probably get the cat checked out by a vet. Maybe the cat has some chronic pain or ear thing that is making him an aggressive shitlord.

I'm thinking a cat that attacks poo poo like that is probably jumpy enough that trying to trim its nails is a (bloody) losing proposition. My girlfriend's cat is a fat lazy gently caress, and he's a handful to trim sometimes. Those caps are probably a decent bet, but they're not cheap and you have to keep up with them. (They start to come off after as little as a week, sometimes.) Gas all cats, replace with dogges.

Slime posted:Do you want to risk being the one to do it? It's not hard honestly. First it helps if you are someone the cat trusts and likes, so he's relaxed around you. When he's snoozing just fiddle with his paws a bit, so he's used to you doing it. Then, again when he's relaxed and snoozing, trim just a couple nail tips, until he starts to tense up -- then give him some treats he loves. It's very important to not hit the quick, just take the very tip, because if you hurt him everything will get so much worse. Even if you're only able to do one paw at a time before the cat starts tensing up, you can just go back on other days to do the other paws. As long as he always 100% of the time gets a treat after getting his nails did he'll soon learn that trimming leads to treats and tolerate it. And if that doesn't work . . . cat straitjacket and muzzle. LOL your cat is a gimp.

After suffering nasty lacerations down both arms it got to the stage where I could only do it by wearing an old leather jacket and gardening gauntlets so I could grab her and wrap her safely up in a bath-towel, and even then she would her best to bite the crap out of me.

Hi, welcome! Oh, while you are here don't make any loud noises or quick movements. The cat will attack you and I don't want to drive you to the emergency room for stitches. If it happens it's your own fault for not reading the cats body language. Yeah better leave the kids in the car... Anyway, so glad to see you, come on in, make yourself at home.

Perhaps the answer to the cat problem is in the middle. Instead of putting it down just declaw the cat. Declawing is totally humane and in no way affects the cat's life.
