I wanted to add that also but I'm not knowledgeable enough about Jackson's career to know if he's really been big in anything that wasn't blockbuster popcorn. Not that blockbuster popcorn can't be artistic, but they aren't exactly Oscar bait.

I have nothing against Bradley Cooper, but Silver Linings Playbook was very overrated and Cooper/Jlaw/that Movie didn't deserve all the Oscar nominations and wins. Edit: Just looked it up and speaking of robbed; Meryl Streep had 15 Best Actress nominations and only 1 win until The Iron Lady. How was that possible?
