Yeah, it kind of sucks that it lost the inventory screen from Pirates Curse, but it's a minor thing.

It's also super good so far, I was skeptical because I vastly preferred Pirates Curse to the ones with the transformation mechanics but I've been adoring the game so far (just beat the airship level).

I heard good-ish things about Legend of Kay, so I picked that up. At $5, might as well, right?

Does the all FE DLC sale also include the other two campaigns? I've been thinking about finally getting that game.

Tried a bit of Legend of Kay. It's cute, a little rough around the edges. I recommend switching on the "New Camera" option. It seems to be faster and more responsive than the default camera, which is dogshit. Controls are fine, main character is cute, and I like the game's aesthetic.

Been really holding off buying two copies of games like link to the past for the 3ds when I have it for the wiiu. Aside from just spending something like 24 CAD on a 1991 game but if the trend continues they'll charge a dollar or two to transfer the licence from the wiiu to the Switch which essentially makes double purchases irrelevant.

Yeah, and it's: real good. There's a G-rank version coming out in Japan in March, but we probably won't get it until like October in that case, so it's still totally worth getting the current version. The save file will carry over, too.

What's Wario Ware Smooth Moves like? I'm thinking of grabbing a bit of a party game from the eShop, not sure between that and Rhythm Heaven/Paradise/Whatever it's called. I'm thinking a Wario Ware might be fun because the games are all pretty quick, and the Wiimote can just be passed around easily.

It's probably one of the best party games ever. It's kinda hard to explain well how the game is in text. Look at YouTube videos of people playing it.

Rhythm Heaven is another great game but multiplayer is more enjoyable in WarioWare so go with that if that's the deciding factor.

Smooth Moves is probably the best Wii game. Like there are greater games that were made and released on the Wii, but Smooth Moves nailed the simplicity and accessibility the system promised and it's also an amazing game. I love smooth moves

Fun story about how dumb I am... my name is Nick, and when playing through the Trilogy, I assumed that it was just using my name drawn from my account or whatever whenever someone called Phoenix "Nick".

Then, I played... The Professor Layton one, I think? And it has voice acting... and my mind was temporarily blown when I heard Maya say Nick out loud... until I realized how stupid I was for not realizing that it was short for Phoenix.
