So far it's been good, multiplayer functions well after figuring out that you need to register a wii-mote for player 1 even though you're playing with the screen gamepad. Only after doing that can you add extra Wii U pro controllers. And that specific mini-game I mentioned actually works just fine, just been a few years since I last played this game. The boards are great and straightforward, the battle mini games happen often and coins are redistributed every other turn it seems like (which is a plus IMO). I totally forgot how the banks work differently on the Bowser land board: ever time you pass you get 5 coins (instead of paying 5) and whoever lands on the bank space has to pay the "interest" of like 100-some coins or whatever it's up to. Avoiding the Bowser parade is great too.

my wife used to keep stats of our MP2 games cause we had the same 5 people around most of the time. 2 ringed notebooks full of stats of every event from each game. i came up with this idea when i was doing a stats course and in a haze of alcohol and drugs thought "we can do advanced stats like in real sports" and everyone else in their same hosed up state seemed to think this was good for some reason.

i looked at my 3ds activity log and dq7, picross 3d 2, and pheonix wright spirit of justice are all in my top 10 most played and they all came out at the end of last year, and i didnt play near enough pokemon moon yet and dq8 is still coming 3ds rules
