I heard the story was that the original script for Jedi had Han dying at some point. Ford actually really liked the screen, and was a bit angry it got rewritten. Also heard that because of this he only signed on to Force Awakens if they'd kill off Han.

Years ago I used to listen to some guys who I think similarly hated the Star Wars fans, but this was during the lead up to The Phantom Menace came out. All I really remember was them calling up a phone booth outside of one of the big theaters where line people were camping out a month in advance for Episode One and got hung up on after insulting someone who said standing in line for a Star Wars movie was a better use of their time/lives than sitting at home watching TV like everyone else.

Again, its weird that Mike thinks he hates fanboys or they hate him. Fanboys hate the PT as much he does and are what propelled RLM to where it is. But now, he hates fan boys for liking movies that are objectively better than the PT. I think Mike doesn't realize that RLM has its down fanboys now and no one is forcing him to do Plinket reviews any more. The internet is so ironic that I think it broke his brain. Just because people defend a movie doesn't mean they are fanboys and if people hate a film doesn't make them open minded.
