Well if they go unpunished and get held up as paragons who had to make a hard decision, then I guess we'll know that this is exactly the same as black people getting gunned down with no or extremely light consequences, and you aren't just massive pile of poo poo who should drink everything underneath your sink posthaste.

Do you guys always minimize horrific acts of violence like the torture video today by pathologically equivocating it to a more suitable horrific crime that fits your narrative? It's really bizarre. As for Shaun King and Deray, gently caress them. They're both opportunistic frauds just like Milo.

Violator posted:I've never understood how people just don't understand context. At the most basic level, I understand that as a man that if I walk up to a woman and say "Hey, what's up oval office?" or "How ya doing bitch?" then that is inappropriate and disrespectful. But if a woman does the same thing to her girlfriends, it's completely fine and playful. Every cultural group has words like that! But for some reason it's offensive to some whites if they can't walk up to a black person and use disrespectful language? Drives me crazy. I actually thought this same way in my younger days when I didn't know any better. Back when the Boondocks first appeared and the n-word was uncensored, I remember being kind of appalled. Not that I wanted to use the n-word myself or argued that non-black people should be able to use it, but rather, if it was such a bad word, why would black people be saying it to begin with? Like I said, though, this was when I was younger and more ignorant of racial matters (this was during my brief stint with libertarianism, which thankfully, was brief). I feel like this is the way a lot of (mostly) White people seem to think. Yeah, it's something that's not that complicated, and could be explained easily in 5 minutes, but the problem was I never heard anyone explain it to me, nor did I ever stop to think about it myself. Hell, for the longest time I had no idea what the the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act actually did. I mean, yeah sure, everyone knew about Martin Luther King and Malcolm X, but the legislation involved and the lead up to those things never really registered. And I think that's one of the major problems. The whole thing with Lincoln, slavery and the Civil War is well established and common knowledge, but the subsequent racial conflicts don't get as much play, which is why you have so many people complain that Black people are so whiny even though it's been 150 years and they should "get over it already". Meanwhile, the White people who were alive during the CRA have kids that are fully grown and alive right now. This poo poo wasn't that long ago.

I think the bigger problem is expecting Republicans to be able to distinguish between the way Turks look compared to the way anyone in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq or Libya look. Also, I'm going to take my car to the mechanic tomorrow and need some reading material to keep busy. Can I get some suggestions on some good economic books (or any interesting book, really).

While NBC and other networks had said they could not match the amount offered by Fox, it is likely the network came close and at least offered more than Kelly's current salary of $15 million per year, per Forbes' reporting. NBC has not replied to a request for comment about the financial details of the contract. Only $15.1m then, cry me a fuckin river I guess

BLM is angry about police officers not being brought to justice for summarily executing unarmed black men. TERRORISTS! A few African Americans assault a white person and are promptly arrested and will almost certainly be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. SEE WHITE PEOPLE ARE ATTACKED BY TERRORISTS. In their view, white people are always downtrodden, gritty underdogs and black people are shiftless villains and no amount of truth, or reason, or empathy can drag them out of the abyss.
