It's our first group stream of the year and we're starting it the way we mean to go on: with a triple bill of total trash. Data Design Interactive released 24 games on the Wii and got some notoriety for copy & pasting elements from game to game. Tonight we're playing all three of the games they released with the theme of urban street car racing: Game 171: Urban Extreme: Street Rage  The sequel to their 2006 PS2 game "Urban Extreme" and an EU Wii exclusive. Keep your eyes peeled for the framerate hitting double digits. Game 172: Classic British Motor Racing  As above, but with Mini Coopers and things. Game 173: London Taxi: Rush Hour  Imagine Crazy Taxi but set in London. Now imagine that London isn't a sprawling metropolis but is instead a small town where Big Ben rings it's bell every 30 seconds. As always we'll be playing each game for a minimum of an hour. Hey all, hope you have a good weekend! We're getting it started with day 12, with the most American gift of all: "12 guns a-shooting." There a ton of ideas for this one of course, and we were actually planning on getting Enter the Gungeon, but our normal Steam hookup didn't have it and we didn't feel like shelling out $15 for possibly a 1-time deal. So instead, it's a blast (and a lot of them) from the past: Mercenaries 2! Let's shoot everything! Also, sorry about missing yesterday; we're going to try to do a make-up for day 10 tomorrow. Since I didn't post it then, here's a heads-up that we started uploading on YT again, with Hatoful Boyfriend and other stuff up. Edit: Well, that was embarrassing!  Hopefully the software will behave and I can redeem myself a bit tomorrow, heh.

We're back for one last holiday day: the makeup for "10 ships a-sailing"! This is another from English nursery rhyme collections almost 100 years after the whole 12 Days started, which is pretty neat. Think about the traditions we've come up with this generation and think about how they might shift in a century (or 3).  Lot of choices here too, but I'm going with Master of Orion 2, since it's one of the 4Xs I'm most familiar with and thus might be more fun to watch than something like Civ 3. I'll be doing an Uncreative Impossible challenge, just to spice things up. Starting now!Oh, and another update is up. I don't think I mentioned it last time, but the latest Darkest Dungeon we have up is the Vvulf fight, so if you missed that and like the game I'd definitely give it a watch, Ben has a strategy that none of us thought would work! Edit: Done! Man, ended up being a really interesting game, since Uncreative is balancing me out and the AI rolled a really overpowered Sakkra. Definitely going to be continuing this one.
