The menu load delay was real annoying and I ended up giving my disc to a friend and buying digital due to the rumored faster loading times, but all the bloom palace animations were 100% skippable.

so my horrible girlfriend got me a Waluigi Amiibo for Christmas (and, less horribly but not making up for it, a Wooly Yoshi Amiibo). What the hell can I actually do with these? I assume Yoshi will do stuff in Yoshi's Wooly World but I scanned Waluigi into Hyrule Warriors and he gave me milk and I don't want Waluigi milk. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

Woolly World will take just about any amiibo and knit it into a Yoshi skin. Try using your Waluigi amiibo in the amiibo hut.

I highly recommend it, though 3DS is probably the weakest place you could play it-- everything is really low res. It does have crossbuy on Nintendo however so if you have a Wii U it's definitely worth playing there. The dungeon crawler gameplay is very straightforward and the story is kind of sparse/simple but I found the combat to be very engaging and the music is awesome. All said it's about six hours long.
