Wasn't it a newspaper that usually fellates the LNP (ie, the Herald Sun) that broke the story?

B-Bishop seems to forget who the Liberal Party trotted out to fire back at Gillard after the misogyny speech. Sure wasn't Abbott.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the helicopter story was the end result of a leak from one of Bronwyn's enemies in the Liberal party. Do you think the same thought of thing could be going on with Ley?

That list of her trips comes from the beginning of last year. This is a right faction stitch-up, it could be any of them and likely to be a combination.

It's extra depressing at how incompetent these people are. Just once I'd like to look up past the boot on my neck and stare into the cold dead eyes of ruthlessly competent evil. Just once I'd like to feel our oppressors earned their spoils through unassailable competence, and to know that the world could never have realistically escaped their clutches. Looking up to see yet another bunch of greedy incompetent clowns is just humiliating and degrading.

I will forever put a partial blame on university politics. Most of these assholes emerged from that crop and their entire ambitions are politics as a game and a salary. No convictions, just how to win elections. Edit: on that note at least some of Left Renewal have started identifying themselves. Vanamali Hermans Former Australian Young Greens Campaign Coordinator and NSW Young Greens Co-convenor, current member of Left Renewal. Anarcho-communist It is no longer an option to let working class people think the far-right will solve their suffering. It is no longer an option to continue red-baiting amongst our ranks and treat socialism as a dirty word. Now more than ever we need to be preparing for a future without capitalism. The Greens need to be supporting participatory, directly democratic politics and empowering workers and communities to take back their lives. That means abandoning liberal politics, abandoning identity politics and adopting a politics of solidarity Lid fucked around with this message at 14:06 on Jan 9, 2017 |
