The sub-Reddit is a god damned salt mine right now. Between the glitches keeping everything and tmh dumping 600 new common items AND duplicates of every variant (but with XP!) it's been a wonderful loving time for IW.

Thanks for the blops games tonight. It was really weird going back to blops movement after like a solid 2 months with Titanfall 2 but the game is still decent. Sharing clips from PS4 surprisingly painless. It took me a bit to find where the hell the clips were saved at though. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to double the ammount of variant with useless copycats. I hated getting dupes but now we're not only getting them in a mk2 variant, but we're not even getting salvage. In a game where Salvage is already difficult to get. Where getting the Epic variant required 4k of it, or 7000+ if you need to buy all variants before it. I like the game itself but this is loving terrible. They may have gotten worst than AW now. Also great games last night, hope we can play some more Blops 3 in the following days.

I got the invite last night but was playing Division with a friend. However she has the Blops3 so I'm up for retro futureshootymans. e: just remembered I got Blops on disc and gave her my old PS4, so she has all the DLC but not the game itself

Also they dumped almost 700+ items and it's still just January. There's almost 10 months left in this game cycle. I can't even imagine the metric ton of poo poo they're going to flood the supply drops with in the upcoming months. Like, even if they make it so you don't get duplicates (which fucks you over from getting salvage) on common (and let's say rare too to be "nice") items and you only open common boxes you won't be able to keep up with the rate at which they're adding poo poo. I genuinely cannot comprehend what the gently caress the reasoning is for this but it's quickly soured the game for me. Which is a shame because I find the gunplay in this SO MUCH BETTER than BLOPS3.

I don't know, I love the movement, the gunplay, even the rigs. Like this is easily my favorite COD in a long rear end while... if you overlook the supply box fiasco which honestly I can't anymore. Not at the rate it's going. BLOPS3 always felt like I died way faster. It wasn't even a shoot first die first. It was a I'm instantly dead welp. Not to mention some of the specialist weapons will forever be too loving good. But I genuinely love the silly taunts and dances and engineer re-rolling so I'll probably give BLOPS3 another fair shot in the next few days. My girlfriend is around for another week but she has Pokémon to keep busy.

Infinite Warfare is drastically missing revenue targets, so Activision has decided they're gonna shake down the whales for every last penny. Hell, we might even get MWR standalone at this rate. As far as the salvage/variant stuff goes I can't bring myself to give a poo poo. I never paid for a box and never will and if I happen to get something nifty out of one, great. If not I can still keep shooting mans with base guns or the few variants I've managed to collect. The problem is that all the reddit folk who are going to collapse in a screaming fit about the variants and camos will still keep blowing thousands of dollars on boxes therefore rewarding Activision for its lovely business model. Like that ancient screencap of all the PC people who were gonna boycott MW2 and they were all playing it. I don't have any particular loyalty to the CoD franchise, there just isn't another game that feels as good to me about shooting the mans so I keep playing it. If something else comes along that hits that sweet spot and y'all will play it I'll drop CoD in a hot minute.

Salvage needs to be changed so that you earn some every match. gently caress it if it's only 10-15, better than poo poo they have now. That'd be 200 matches to craft a rare variant.

Blu-Resin is more of a pastel blue, and has a subtle lined texture. That looks like someone took an untextured square of (0,0,255) blue and called it a day.

after reading about what the gently caress is going on with IW, I am so glad I punched out on that poo poo after playing it the first 2-3 days with it's poo poo netcode. The fact that anyone who did that glitch was able to keep all their epic guns and poo poo would be enough for me to stay away from it now, the fact that they added those lazy rear end camos is just amazingly lovely compared to the BLOPS3 system
