Many goons pointed out that a system like Synereo could be used by violent hate groups and child porn traders, and eripsa repeatedly refused to answer almost any questions about things like this. One of the only answers he gave was just "well it's a distributed system, thus we can't prevent terrorists from using it or someone from putting child porn on it" as if this closed the topic. I don't think he ever answered questions about things like "did you consider any design choices for Synereo that would prevent people from using it for these purposes" or "do you think it is morally OK for you, personally, to design a system that child pornographers can use to evade law enforcement". It's some really  stuff IMO.

Even *if* every other thing about this wasn't unworkable bullshit, you'd need to devote so much time online to cultivate your online authority and reputation you'd enter a feedback loop where that's all you'd ever be able to do if you wanted any kind of voice.
