That worked for the Wii because Wii Sports was a pack-in. This costs $50 and looking at the types of games you can get for that amount of money vs this is a valid thing to criticize. This is like a collection of dollar mobile games with waggle controls

There's a 1-2-Switch game where you gotta guess how many balls are inside a box by "feeling" with the Joy-Con (I'm describing that badly but basically the idea is the J-C is a box with balls inside and you're turning it to feel the vibration of them moving around) and it works immensely well.

Those 1-2 Switxh games look like they would be fun for about an hour at most. Also the loading times are abysmal, specially for such quick games

Wait is 1-2-Switch seriously a full game? gently caress that. It would be a perfect bundled in party game but it definitely isn't worth full price. Milking was hilarious though especially with how it encourages you to look into each other's eyes. ARMS was also a lot of fun but pretty much felt like a party game too. SnipperClips is cool and adorable.

Wii Music I actually think is unfairly mocked because I think, to a newcomer, they'd get it immediately, it's the kind of game I actually think would have worked just as well as a pack-in, but the problem was they marketed it as this big new game after Wii Sports already was a phenomenon, and they made the mistake of demoing it live (well, personally I dont think it was a mistake because it's one of my favorite Youtube videos ever) 1 2 Switch though, I just dont get how you have a launch title for your new system that emphasizes LOOKING AWAY FROM THE SYSTEM

It still has about a dozen incredible games, most of which are like $20 or $30 retail now. Like, I bought a PS4, and only ended up with maybe a dozen games worth the purchase to me. At this point in the PS4's lifespan, it's nearly dead to me. The only game of 2017 that I'm looking forward to is Persona 5. Maybe Horizon. Hope you like platformers though because half of those dozen incredible games are platformers.

Honestly, I'm disappointed in 1-2-Switch but it's the only thing they showed off that doesn't look solid. The launch isn't mind blowing, but solid. That's enough for me.
