Good for you! It sounded like it was making you miserable so yolo, indeed. But goondelences, if hotels there are anything like in the US, your sheets and pillowcases get cleaned but everything else is just tossed back on when the bed is made, unless there's a big obvious fresh stain on it. But if you request new ones they'll come straight from the laundry.
