if it's in good shape and actually fully restored as advertised, it will be a fun little bike. At $1400 I'd be tempted too

Can you even make a u-turn on that thing, or is the correct answer three right turns then a left?

Pretty good deal on a Daytona 675R, but the stickers on the bike make me question the owner (maybe I'm just being a dick): http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/mcy/5948477056.html

eh, they're just stickers that came with the poo poo he bought for the bike (and a helmet), it's not like it's covered in MONSTER ENERGY DRINK logos, equipped with a stunt cage and a flattened tank

Buying new(ish) tech from a company that just got shut down (dealer support til 2020 or no), seems like a really poor idea. That price is tempting, though. If KTM just got shut down and that was a 6k 1290, I'd be posting from the saddle of a 1290 right now. Brammo is a different story. Coydog fucked around with this message at 18:26 on Jan 12, 2017 |

The only real wear parts on that Empulse are the tires, brakes, and batteries, the latter being the only part that might be difficult to replace as they age and don't hold as much of a charge. For 6 large I'd be all over that thing.

Sagebrush posted:Also the chain and clutch. Empulses aren't direct-drive like the Zeros. You don't slip the clutch so it doesn't really wear. Brammo still exists as a company, (Polaris only bought the rights to the Empulse) and the bikes are simple enough that the aftermarket will have a lot of opinions on how they should run very soon, likely.

Ironically, the incand has a better and brighter beam profile than the LED, or any other bike I've ridden. I don't want to go back to that for reasons I don't want to get into.
