And from that team, Terry, Lampard, A. Cole, Ballack, and Makelele are all shoe-ins. After that there's a bunch of players who are probably in the mix. So I think it might be a bit of a stretch, but I'm not sure it's all that crazy.

idk if Carvalho, Ballack and Essien made enough appearances be very high on anyone's "best of the PL" list (Essien had the most with 168) but they were still huge names in world football

Malouda, Joe Cole, Carvalho, Essien. I dont think they'd get in the biggest names o play in the premier league. The 96/97 Chelsea side had bigger names imo

I can think of 20 bigger names at chelsea alone than him Lampard, Terry, Dogba, Cole, Cech, Hazard, Courtois, Makelele, Zola, Gullit, Desailly, Di Matteo, Vialli, Mata, Wise, Petrescu, Robben, Hughes, Le Saux, Hasselbaink. Easily get 80 more in the prem. I could probably get 80 more just from United, Arsenal and Liverpool. 83 if I included Boro players
