Maybe the other driver hit a weak come-backer in his general direction. Despite his temper Ventura was one of my favorites. Except for like the week I was pissed and said they should trade him.

Imagine having the young talent we've lost in the last few years on a team. Tavares manning rf and mashing dingers and Fernandez/Ventura at the top of your rotation. To be fair we know absolutely nothing about the crash yet besides it happened and Ventura is dead as a result. For all we know he was driving along perfectly fine and then some drunk shithead ran into oncoming and plowed into him.
