Well, Aqua and Kazuma did a good thing, even if it was by accident and kinda ended up not helping them out very much. And I'm glad that the speculation from S1 was borne out, and Megumin really does come up with a different incantation for Explosion every time, and workshops new ones while she's not casting. Vague speculation: Lurk is one of those luck based skills that for most adventurers are downright useless, but is overpowered in Kazuma's hands because he has a high luck stat. Even when Megumin isn't the focus of the episode she manages to get the best bits to herself. Chomosuke for best support character. Also I guess now we know what Wiz will look like after a few centuries. Lich-despisers can rejoice.

Chances are if that's allowed under the system, she's already bought the skill. 50/50 on it igniting the entire atmosphere or just giving everyone on the planet a bad sunburn.

uh, why would she do that when instead she could pump more skill points into making a bigger explosion? the cast speed increase is probably the closest megumin will ever get to an efficient choice.

If you get lucky and keep winning, they give you comps like a free hotel room and stuff to get you off the floor, because it saves them more money than the risk of your luck streak continuing. Every casino has their own detection and monitoring algorithm for this because... it's their job. The quantification can be generalized as the number of standard deviations you are above the mean. And I've heard stories of people getting preemptively banned from playing blackjack, but that's less because of luck and more because of card counting. Yeah, as I saw it described elsewhere she's basically a max-level character except she can still level to get skill points (to spend on useless crap). So, she's very powerful... Except for her dump stats and somewhat focused skillset (offensively she has the anti-undead stuff and water attacks, and it turns out lots of things are resistant/immune to water and also aren't undead) making it so most of the time she's not capable of ending things on her own she's basically useless, particularly when combined with her personality.

Oh nice, i was worried theyd skip this one since it didnt show up in season 1. Its a nice story since itll be the only time Aqua seems to do something serious. Only side story still missing is the party swap one which probably wont be shown since the characters that got introduced from it have already been introduced.
