I'm trying to work out how to parse the sentence so that "stalker" and "hateboner" are referring to himself, because it would make a lot more sense that way.

cool new Polack jokes posted:In our setting of Banshee, there were ten stimpires which were united under ten galaxies. They were all allied as the United Galactic Stimpires, until one day, when the Sixth Stimpire noticed that the Fourth Stimpire was adopting laws that were against the regulations of the UGS. High-ranking military servants noticed that at the end of their favourite sporting event, the losing side was being rounded up, with all 11 players wailing in despair. They then noticed that the center of the stadium was now revealing a large, cylindrical container with a sharp floor. The floor was in the shape of a grinding grater, except there were several discs each turning very slowly, one being further out than the other from its center point. They were then pushed in by very powerful cybernetic stadium security officers, and the container was sealed up. It was then, to the horror of the colonels, that there was blood being smeared against the glass of the machine. They both left for their transit van, only to be stopped by Fourth Stimpire Enforcers. They demanded that they get past, only to be told that the Fourth Stimpire is a sovereign, socialist empire which listens to its people. They were then being transported to a greyscale soundproof room, with very sharp machinery decorating the room from all over. foreverally chewed up spinning blades cutting meat enforcer pushing into box sharp cutting blade stab permanently pain triple doubling

I am Chris Roberts and I am here to ask you a question: Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? Yes, says the man in Basement. It belongs to the CiG. Yes, says the man in the Cat Suit. It belongs to CiG. Yes, says the man in the belt. It belongs to CiG. I accepted those answers. So, I made a kickstarter. I chose the impossible scam. I chose... Star Citizen - Chris Roberts

It will be early access and it's multiplayer only so I'd still be cautious to buy this day one, but I'll keep an eye on it. They state that many of their planned features are "complete"; they will be included in the Early Access release but they will be expanded upon and improved based on feedback.

sent an email for a refund 10 days ago, got a basic response saying it'd be escalated. Just received a response basically saying "THE GAME IS GOOD THOUGH HERE'S MORE INFO". Didn't actually address the fact that I'd asked for a refund at all. Googling strings from the email reveal it's basically a form letter. My initial refund mentioned ACCC and they still put me off. Super shady, basically. I've now had respond and tell them that yes, I do actually want a refund and no, I didn't actually buttdial an email to CiG asking for a refund.

That's their standard process for refunds, and, albeit it seems like you are talking to some polite robot I think they are not entirely automated and they do update this (maybe trying different stuff to convince you to have a change of mind). All of the people who request a refund will get an e-mail with a bunch of videos and text that says that you will be missing out on this great game they are making and talking about weekly and showcasing at conventions. Mine did mention at the end that if I still wanted a refund all I had was to confirm that (again) and then send my Paypal info.

The Titanic posted:Derek is threatening this leak of names working at CIG with linked in profiles and forum names and who knows what else. This has been the "just do it doxx" thing for the past day or two. It's a bit silly to do, but it's his agenda that he feels he can further by work-shaming individuals. Not a threat. Not a doxx. Not harassment. Regardless of what other people say my intent is, that's on you guys who listen to them. As I said on Twitter, it is a blog listing all key people - past and present - working on the project. Short bios and links to LinkedIn (and where possible, RSI profiles) profiles. No different from any company website or crowd-funded project in which the people are listed. Heck, you could go right now on LinkedIn do a search for "people who work at cloud imperium" and come up with a list. Similarly, you could go on any crowd-funded project page and see the people asking for money and making the product. What makes Star Citizen any different or special? Faux outrage never concerned me one bit. So all this is just noise.

I can't even hate them, Ben is just a broken Wing Commander fan, Sandi just wanted to be an actor, Chris just wanted to make a movie. They are all sad stories about how easy it is to get lost in our modern society. The schadenfreude I get from watching the idiot backers throwing money at them make it worth it. Never stop giving them money Citizens, I want to see what Chris comes up with next. The homestead video was an amazing uninspired little video of archered ideas. Star Marine is the groundbreaking team based multiplayer FPS in the cryengine. The PU is a broken mess and Arena Commander is a joke. What is next for Chris and his crew? Probably a concept sale.
