Robocop has aged badly. The stuff it satirizes (as well at the act of satirizing it) is cliché, the titular character is slow and dumpy, with Weller's talents only shine through when his mask is off. For my money? About corporations, money, and the fusion of humanity and machinery, the newer Robocop says more with one scene (that one scene) than a trilogy of earlier Robocops.

Where I live renting a decent looking 3 bedroom apartment costs about $200 more a month than what I pay a month for mortgage, taxes and insurance for my 4 bedroom that is much larger and has a nice yard. Add to the fact that I get the tax deductions, and it makes it even better. Even if I got fired tomorrow and decided I was going to sell and move away it would have been worth it.

Renting is great if you have roommates. Though after you turn 30 your main goal should be owning and renting to roommates. Thats why I'm gonna buy a three flat in a bad neighborhood in Chicago! Just sit back, let the tenants pay my mortgage, and wait for the sweeping cleansing hand of gentrification to make my property worth millions......or a bombed drug hut. You know, which ever the market decides.

That one is about 1400 sq feet. Basements are finished and unable in Iowa. Tbh though tbe housing prices are starting to increase http://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sal...387_rect/14_zm/ My house is closer to this, a bit bigger and I paid 150k. Granted mine is 1996, but yeah you can get a lot of NICE house here in a NICE area for not a lot of money. To put it in perspective, to rent a place like this it'd be the same or more as the mortgage.

I live in Memphis TN and you can get nicer houses than those for less money in the suburbs here. The ironic thing about Jastiger's hate of the South is that most southern cities are probably remarkably similar to Des Moines, only with a much larger portion of black people. Wait a second...
