I have a long trip coming up to China, so I decided to restock on Cremo. Turns out it's an add on item, so I pulled a few things off my wish list, too:

Up next: counter stools and a 24"*24" frame for my rad "The Last of Us" poster and my apartment will finally, truly be complete.

Being a adult is cool I guess.

Wacom Intuos Draw

My first impression is that it's lightweight and reasonably sized without being flimsy like the Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch I used to have years ago. I don't draw every day and am not a professional so it's pretty nice for under 100€.

Also bought a digital scale for 9,90€. Let's hope the readings are at least somewhat accurate.

Because the pile of garbage that my laptop came with died.

Annoyingly, given the money lost from not being able to work, and the replacement, I could have bought a new not-garbage laptop. But it'd have taken 12 days to deliver.

That Hemingway looks like one of those books where the publisher just rips the text off Project Gutenberg (or Wikipedia if it's not fiction) and slaps whatever painting on the cover and prints them out on demand.

e: I know Hemingway isn't on Gutenberg yet, it's just lazy graphic design.

As far as pure sugar candies, Skittles and Airheads are definitely the best.

There is little that makes me happier than taking drugs. Perhaps administering them, designing and carrying out experiments that bend the plane of what we consider reality.

This guy knows whats up. Bulleit bourbon is good, the rye is drat good. Makes a killer old fashioned too, just add a bit more sugar if you need it. Or do a horse's neck: rye, ginger beer, dash of bitters, lemon peel.

It's more solid than you'd think, I'd guess around 3 lbs? Maybe 4? Back has a little coin thing that says handmade, and hanging hook

I'm still surprised it's handmade and shipped from Greece for that price

Out of curiosity, why did you buy a device to run Netflix when the tablet with smartcast included with the tv can already run apps? Have you heard any negative reviews of its functionality or was there something only available on Roku?

The app doesn't support Amazon video, which I do use occasionally. I have also heard that using the tablet is a hassle. Roku is just so drat easy and intuitive, so it made sense to me.

The tablet is lovely, slow, and dies in like an hour.
