I honestly didn't expect to hit the paywall so quickly in Champions. I can't advance in The Road because my guys are too weak, and I can't level up my guys without a bunch of random item tokens that don't seem to drop anywhere. I received ten 2-star tokens as a "one time prize" from a match and was hoping to trade them in for a new wrestler, and then I saw that a new wrestler costs ten thousand 2-star tokens. I like the concept of a match 3 WWE game but this one just seems designed as an IAP factory.

I'm on day 3 and kind of aimlessly grinding when I can. If there's a better strategy I'd obviously rather do that. I paid $5 for that Undertaker pack, but I don't really want to put anymore money into the game.

Getting kinda frustrated with how the game blatantly fucks you over/cheats sometimes. Stuff like the AI intentionally breaking lootboxes when they have actual matches they could be making, or them conveniently getting these massive combos off a single 3 match that instantly take out all your health and pin you. It's real fun to go from winning to losing in a single gem match.

I hate hitting a 5-gem combo but not getting to use the wild card or my extra turn because the pin attempts are automatic and then the AI gets to go. I know he's going to kick out, I don't want to pin him yet!

game is good and i am enjoying it and even grinding for coins aint TOO terrible since i can do a lot in a row if I am strong against outclassed stages, just hopefully dont get a huge combo and pin them although my strongest guy is a Gold Darren Young I got out of a box so loving laffo w/e game i did just get a 2* Bronze Seth Rollins Architect so maybe he'll overtake D-Young

I hate this stupid game sometimes. I also hate myself for spending money on it. But I have four level 30 dudes and it's kinda fun to run rough shod over the real easy levels when you're grinding. Although seriously gently caress the game constantly throwing crazy combos to the AI and giving me dick to work with. It's better than Supercard at least.

ok so after you clear out some missions they start having cooldowns; those ones can give large amounts of coins. I have one just to win fights that gives me 25,000 coins when I complete it (idk how many battles, its 4 hours til its active)

Has 2K said anything about PS3/360 getting future WWE games? I just checked Wikipedia for some historical perspective; apparently they were doing PS2 releases as late as SvR 2011. And SvR 2008 was the first to come out on PS3 (so at this point, PS2 and PS3 have had 10 games each). I know it's generally a bad idea to buy these, but I haven't played since WWE'12 and I've got the itch. My shiny new PS4 (I got on board late) is as good a reason as any to get back in the habit. I'm hoping we'll get a current-gen only release this time, to increase the likelihood of it being good.

You need coins to level up, not tokens. Tokens are for enhancing. Unless you levelled everyone up to max. If you did that, go back and replay the first few maps and get 3* on everything to unlock Hard mode.

it comes in spurts. like youll be able to unlock like all the nxt hard modes but not clear them all then you can do more world tour then that walls then you go back to finish NXT hard mode etc etc sprinkle in dailies and it should be steady on the slowish side for at least a while. Im sure it walls hard later tho
