Don't know about the lifters, but I generally use tri-metal bearings in builds. ACL race or King XP would be good choices if they are available. I used acl race HX (.001 extra clearance) rod bearings and some regular oem type mains, which is what the machine shop gave me. Tri-metal. Aluminum in something you don't give a poo poo about/need to get running again. Clean/test lifters. check for wear. fail? replace. Generally its good to have new lifters to a new cam, etc.

I replaced that (the float assembly) and everything works fine now... nice and steamy. If you didn't see the update, I got a link to a service manual and the heater is built in to the pump assembly.
