Everyone needs that giant train wreck of a relationship. Something that seemed OK while you were in it until it just go so crazy that one of you ended it and when you look back you have no idea how it lasted as long as it did. Its important so you can identify warning signs before it escalates to explaining to the police that you're just reporting your car stolen so if they find her they can bring her home and you don't want her arrested.

You can learn it by observing others broken failed relationships, or just being mildly self aware and putting an actual effort into getting to know the person you're dating before making a big commitment.

My confession is that I'm a man in his mid 20's with a good job that pays well and has benefits and I am super conflicted about this girl I just started sleeping with. She works at a Gamestop and isn't what you'd call conventionally attractive. She's super into video games and anime and has no real future plans beyond working at Gamestop (which she loves, worryingly). But holy poo poo the sex is good, she's into some really intense BDSM stuff (as am I) and loves all kinds of things that no one I've ever been with has ever even considered doing. When we hang out on the weekends we spend hours in my house doing all kinds of amazing sex stuff with some brief breaks to walk my dog and watch netflix or whatever. The reason I'm worried about all of this is that I used to be like her. When I was in my late teens I was a painfully nerdy guy who loved anime, warhammer, JRPGs, magic the gathering, Harry Potter fanfic, and everything else like that. I worked really hard to get in shape, stop eating like poo poo, and limit my time with those kinds of hobbies to a set amount per week. I went from a guy with no prospects working at a dead end minimum wage job to being extremely well off for a guy who dropped out of college twice. I'm worried that being with her will make me revert back into my previous form and I'll lose everything. I know my friends already judge me for being with her because she's considerably younger than me (she was born in 1996, I was born in 1990) but I think I actually love her and even if she wanted to work retail until she died our combined income would still make us pretty well off for the area we live in (Central Oregon) so it really wouldn't be that big a deal.

dude

what is she, 20? Stop worrying about that all she wants to do is work at Gamestop and play video games. She's 20. Of course she's a little manchild-y, she's basically a child. I'm not judging you for the age difference here, I'm just saying, keep in mind you guys are in different phases of your life.

And guess what? Maybe she will change you a little bit, but you can change her right back. Make her start working out and eat a vegetable, and in exchange you can let her show you her pokemans, and whip each other a lot or whatever it is you were alluding to in very little detail, and don't overthink it.

I went in to the military at age 18 because I was on a fast track to ending up homeless and dead. I was a terrible student, a real POS to my family, and had no prospects. The army taught me discipline, courage, and pride.

It also taught me the thrill of dressing in women's clothing.

I'm now married and have a beautiful baby son. Every Friday night I go "bowling" with some guys from work. In reality, I dress up in the nicest feminine clothes I can find and walk around the Chicago Metro Area. It's liberating to me.

I'm not really sure how you can pick up crossdressing in the Army, but you do you, bud

She's not going to date him, I don't think so. I'm not sure how he feels actually, he said "she's attractive" which is not exactly a declaration of love either.

That being said - young people, take it from somebody who's old af - there's no kiss out of pity. There's certainly no kiss out of pity in such a setting. Without some base of attraction this just does not happen. These were genuine, good old fashioned hormones inhibiting the part of her brain knowing that this was wrong. This wasn't a rational decision of her because rationally, this couldn't end well in any way. A very human moment, which this world desperately needs.

Therapy goon should just listen to what she has to say and do/say himself whatever he thinks is right and what he thinks would be the best for him. If she is going to be honest as of why this happened, no matter what I'm sure it'll give him a nice boost of confidence which he sounds like he needs, besides all that psychological mumbo-jumbo.

Call me an old-fashioned softie, but that's the way I see it. Namaste and god bless.

I have had the song "X Gon' Give it to Ya" stuck in my head for nearly 6 years straight. It'll go away for a while, then come back. My marriage dissolved because of this. We would make love and I'd start singing it, I'd be meeting her family and start humming it. And worst of all - I had to give a speech at her Mother's funeral. It started fine and then the song got in my head. I finished the speech with several lyrics from the song, to horrified reactions from her family.

Sometimes I think about suicide and the song pops up again, gets me in a better mood, and I forget suicide. I've seen several doctors and nothing is wrong with my physically or mentally.

OK, I have a weird one. I got through depressive spells every now and then, and they gently caress with my sex drive. I go from liking regular sex and porn to liking weird poo poo like voyeurism, BDSM, etc.

Well in the fall I was feeling like this, and I didn't have a lot to do at work, so I started writing these long tentacle rape stories about girls I know (yes like the anime). I spent hours on the them, and I'd be really turned on the entire time. They were pretty graphic and hosed up. I haven't even watched anime in 10+ years. Months later, I have zero interest in reading them or writing more. I do not know why I get like that sometimes.

When the Large Hardon Collider was turned on it alerted us to aliens who seek to kill/enslave us all.

They began reaching out to the Elite in the country, which included the Obama/Clinton family. These traitors to our race were willing to sell us to the Alien Menace as food/slaves. Trump was elected and fought so hard because he is also aware of this but wants to stop it.

The Wall is code for a space barrier to protect Earth, and his recent tweet about "bad dudes" can be rearranged to be about "BUDESDA". That's the Homeworld of the Alien Menace and Trump is using coded tweets to let us know we are going to be safe. His military buildup is for a similar reason since we will need the Marines to fight these things off if they crack the space barrier.

I am terrified of ET and clowns. For Halloween last year my boyfriend decided it would be hilarious to dress up as a super ghetto version of ET and a clown and sit in the closet until I got home. When I went to put my coat away and saw him, I screamed and started panicking because I was absolutely sure ET was coming back to finish the job of murdering me horribly. Instead my boyfriend laughed and once I calmed down I started laughing too because honestly it was pretty funny.

Now my fear of both is a lot less! Which is great because a professional woman in her late 20s shouldn't still be terrified of a creature from an 80s movie. However I still think ET is the loving worst and should never be shown to children.

I'm not really sure what a combination of ET and a clown would look like but yeah that sounds like it would be pretty scary and I don't even have either of those phobias

I am on my local community's city council, and am a staunch Republican. One of my major selling points in the past election involved transgender bathrooms.

2 local schools made local news (maybe national, I honestly dunno) for having transgender students and allowing them to use the bathroom of their choice. I vehemently opposed this and said that bathrooms should be based on the biological sex you are. If you have a penis, you will go to the men's room. And vice versa for female parts.

In private fundraisers and parties, I wasn't afraid to say that being transgender was a mental illness, that needed to be treated and not encouraged. During the Trump election cycle I was lauded as a pillar of the community, at least among the white wealthy and straight parts of the city.

In reality, I masturbate entirely to TG porn such as Bailey Jay. I find it extremely taboo and fantasize a LOT about a woman like that jumping on me and taking complete control over me. I am also near 30 and have no interest in females unless they would be TG.

This one's biggest tell was "at least among the white, wealthy and straight parts of the city", no Republican would define their support in those terms using those words

Here's some more, I've got way too many feshes rn

quote:

I haven't been able to get logged in to my computer at work since coming back after the Christmas Holiday.

I haven't checked email, or worked in any of our computer systems since then. I still come in to work everyday and mostly hang around the break room or the warehouse floor. I've started taking 3 hour lunches and catching a new movie during this time.

Nobody has contacted me to say "where are you?" unless there are hundreds of emails sitting unread saying exactly that. My paychecks keep coming. I spoke to IT the first day, they said they were openning a ticket to get this fixed, but I have yet to hear back. Best of all, my boss retired after the Thanksgiving holiday and nobody has replaced him yet.

A small part of me is worried about my place in the company considering I've done nothing for a month with nobody noticing. But then I think of the long days, working unpaid weekends, and getting phone calls at home during dinner. Then I say "gently caress it" and am happy for what I've got.

yeah honestly as a corporate drone all I can think is this is gonna backfire majorly eventually. It's IT's fault you still don't have access (have you made sure this is still the case?), sure, but if anyone pays the slightest bit of attention to you they will notice that you didn't talk to anyone about the problem or about getting more work for over a month and that will not look good

Don't worry though you're fine compared to the next guy

quote:

I pretended to have cancer for about 18 months. I did it at first to get out of work. I needed a week off, my bosses refused, so I "woke up feeling really sick". I came in to work and said I had cancer, and since I work in a small grocery store and nobody gives a poo poo, that was it. I then proceeded to take a bunch of time off for the next year, inlcuding holidays, which are BULLSHIT to work at agrocey store anyway.

I got more pussy while I was cancer positive than ever before. Because 1 > 0 lol.

I eventually got over my cancer when that pussy train dried up and I realized it wasn't really beneficial to keep lying.

Also I'm high AF right now thanks to some sweet medical marijuana. Not due to cancer but due to my glockoma.

Corporate drone goon should start using this time to look for a new job, because I'm sure he won't be able to keep the old one. It wasn't really his fault in the beginning but it certainly is now. You didn't really do anything to solve this issue and you did no work or tried to.

I'm more astonished how you can just hang around at work like that for such a time. I think I'd go out of my mind with boredom. Your job must really suck. All the more reason to look for a new one IMHO
