Awww, that sucks. My friend had a summer cabin on the St Lawrence River, and I remember being so jealous that she could get a US and a Canadian Sesame Street! Blew my 5 year old mind to watch some of my favorite animated segments in French instead of Spanish.

It's kind of amazing how far broadcast TV has come. I recently got an antenna after dumping cable, and it pulls in 48 channels with great picture quality. I realize a lot of this is from the shift to digital broadcasting, but it's still pretty amazing.

If I'm getting this right that means Cumberbatch and Doyle had a common ancestor right around the time the Thirty Years' War broke out. It's a nice icebreaker when you're chatting up a Sherlock fan but I think Lone Starr and Dark Helmet have a stronger claim to relation.
