Snails are so strange to me, because every time I see one I automatically picture the base of the head as its face and the wiggly stalks are antennae. But it's not its face, it has no eyes there, because the eyeballs are at the end of the wiggly stalks. It messes with my head every time.

So my work did a doggie "kissing booth" event to raise money for local rescues. It was super fun! We built a kissing booth and got a bunch of props and had a professional photographer, who volunteers at all our events to drum up business and because she loves dogs. Does it count as "uplifting" if I'm just really pleased to work at a place that values my input and lets me pitch crazy ideas and then actually do them? We even did a dog treat bake sale and our boss offered to pay for the ingredients
