The Celtics are pretty much just hiding him on bad wing players like you do with any bad defensive star. The best he can do then is play harass perimeter defense since he's never going to be able to fight through screens effectively or drop back on defense. I think he does that harass defense pretty well.

He's still a positive player, but I can't find a single stat that says he is neutral. on D
