The Kings are keeping Galloway The raptors should sign Matt Barnes. He could fill up the wing slot they lost with Terrence Ross. They could really play some long armed lineups against Cleveland's smaller lineups. I want Matt Barnes on my team but there's no room for him.

I don't have vivek's contact information but can someone please tell him, cuz he's probably haven't been watching alot of basketball, that we have a fresh derrick rose who, he may not have known, is a number one pick. That new orlean pick is gonna be what like in the bottom half of the first round so why not trade NO's pick and galloway for derrock rose and our 17 2nd round pick. New Orleans can still sign Cousins at the end of next season for more than any other team - just not for the super max - right? If so, then yeah, he'll resign with New Orleans. I predict they play the Warriors tight in the first round and lose in 6 games this year, get home court in the first round next year and make it to the 2nd round at least. That would be really promising, meaning Cousins would almost have to resign with them, unless he wants to take less money to start over with a new team that isn't likely to be as good as what he's got going on in New Orleans. The lopsidedness of this deal is stunning, the Kings got nothing for a top 10 player in the league.

Cousins loses a lot of money if he leaves NOLA next year and he gets to play with Anthony Davis. I think he'll resign, especially if they make some backcourt moves this offseason. The Southwest Division becomes even more of a meat grinder. Bleh

The All Star game had Giannis (and Giannis dunking on Steph multiple times leading to Steph lying on the floor at one point). It was good. Bigs won the Skill competition again. Good. Yeah I'm curious to watch the ASG from 2004 to see how it stacks up. I mean I only watch them once a year (if I don't skip them) so I'd be curious to see how they look side by side. People have been saying "they don't play defense!" for the last few decades but it anecdotally feels like its went from playing a token pickup basketball level of defense to just kind of standing out of the way and taking turns chucking/throwing dunks. Athletes are smarter now so I'm assuming they just aren't really interested in in getting injured in an exhibition and defense kinda skyrockets the chances of that, but the last few years it hasn't even really felt much like a basketball game just because the semblance of competition is so low. The coolest moment of the night by far was Giannis annihilating Curry on a put back because surprise, highlights are cooler if they involve some modicum of resistance. Also I have a conspiracy theory that Giannis barely played in the fourth quarter because the other players were annoyed that he was trying way harder than everyone else, fishing for steals and offensive boards and stuff. Kobe wouldn't have stood for this  .
