Also, what else is in that stack of books other than Turgenev?

I like the Epiphones, I got a used one for $250 that I'm really happy with. No way I'd pay the 2 grand or whatever the gently caress they want for it to say Gibson at the top instead.

I lucked out and snagged a *~vintage~* 1995 Gibson Les Paul Studio for 400$ the other week :homebrew:

Building drones, a phone mount for macro photography, cat toys, probably a robot chassis or two for uni work. First up tho a headphone stand and grind catcher for my coffee grinder.

I also got a job recently at a 3D printing company so general tinkering and knowledge as well. Which also means I'll get to claim my hobby on tax. gently caress yea.

e: There's also some really cool fixed wing aircraft out there too, so probably that.

It seems weird to me that anything from 1995 can be considered "vintage." Does that make my 1985 Fender even more vintage? :corsair:

The crub tray covers like 2 coats of Benjamin Moore.
It swallows bagels, waffles, and rolls like a greedy whore. (though what the gently caress are you toasting bagels for?)

Anyways here's my recent purchase: I am about to rent a 1br in Austin for 900 a month! It's in a working class (or sketchy, as priveleged people like to say) part of town that is rapidly gentrifying because it's like, a ten minute drive to downtown.

As the child of working class parents I don't know how I feel about contributing to the problem but boy howdy am I excited to have my own palace once again!

Living by yourself in Austin on one income is about as luxurious as it gets down here yall.

I work in tech and all my coworkers think living by yourself is a dumb waste of money.

The rapid rent spikes show no signs of slowing down.

That's a side effect of living somewhere that everyone else wants to live. Only rich people get to live there. If you move to a low population hellhole your rent will be much less!
