Speaking of, I finally got around to watching episode 4 of GX. Yeah...I totally get what they're going for with Hibiki, but the pacing/delivery is extremely awkward so far. It doesn't feel entirely earned. It would be so much better if she hadn't been completely depowered for a cheap cliffhanger. Like I said the other day, I get her hesitating to fight humans/humanoids more than before, but I don't see any reason she couldn't at least clean up the Noise long enough for Miku and pals to escape or something, then get her rear end handed to her once the actual humanoid Autoscorer joined the frey. This still depowers in the important, story-changing sense without making her look completely incompetent. Well, aside from getting another scene of Maria using Gungnir, but...eh. I could survive losing that. Edit: That said this scene of Hibiki saving Miku was pretty good. G-Beat is a good song. Double Edit: Aaaand then the episode ends on almost the exact same cliffhanger as episode 3. No, Symphogear, I don't believe that that twist is going to stick this time, either.
