I know in BC, anyone who was born between 1970-something and 1996 wasn't properly vaccinated (they were only given one shot when they should have been given two). I only found out about this last year when there was a mumps outbreak in Whistler; my mom had made sure I got all my vaccinations and stuff but all the same being born in 1988 I still wasn't completely covered.

That's always been my issue with him. I've liked him for the most part and he's been reliable for years. But every game he has a "Controller Disconnected" mental lapse. Luckily if he's put with someone competent that can be mitigated. Otherwise it's up to Andersen.

Josh Bailey set a career high in points last night (42, now 43) in his 60th game as he's spent a decent portion of this season now on John Tavares' wing

I was pretty surprised to find out that Josh Bailey has had a more productive season than Tavares' old line mate who got a nice raise this offseason

Bailey: 60 gp 12 goals 31 assists 43 points
Kyle Okposo: 59 gp 18 goals 21 assists 39 points

Bailey is a pretty up and down player who has some nice highs when he's on but he tends to vanish for incredibly long stretches. He had a really sweet pass against Montreal last night to set up an Anders Lee goal though.

But please Garth, one season, give me one season with John Tavares having a legit player on his wing before all life is wiped out in a nuclear apocalypse and my last thoughts are reminiscing about a 2 month stretch where Thomas Vanek was an Islander

Schultz was on the top PP in practice and took line rushes in the top 6 so sounds like he's playing tomorrow which is good.

On the other hand Letang was practicing on the fourth pairing with Olesky, so the d tomorrow is likely this unless Tang plays:

Dumoulin-Hainsey
Cole-Schultz
Gaunce-Ruhwedel

that third pairing :negative:

Only one team in the league has won more games than them. But Lundqvist is old and bad and their window slammed shut last year and they should tank for a #1 pick because that'll make them win a cup down the line wait a minute they're actually good.

Eh, even in a deep draft a 3rd round draft pick is a poo poo-shoot. The fancies are there behind Jurco that a change-of-scenery dice-roll is probably a better shot than a draft pick, truth be told.

Though it's the Hawks so expect him to get a long-term $3m+ contract shortly.

He's an acceptable #7 or 8 dman. He can skate and he's not a complete dolt with the puck. He just takes a bit too long to make decisions with it. Definitely doesn't process the game at NHL speeds.

His skating is really good though so he can fill in and do okay.

Stars apparently didn't acknowledge that today was "You can Play" day, where NHL teams recognize the community of LGBTQ hockey fans and players. No reference to this event at all during the television broadcast or in game presentation. People are now arguing whether a 20 second video with Tyler Seguin shouting out to You can Play was shown in arena before the game started.

not a good look.
