Dial-a-Dog posted:https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/835325771858251776 Fox News continues to focus on the debate about how immigration is breaking Sweden. One guest last night, described as a ”Swedish defense and national security advisor”, spoke about the problems caused by criminality in Swedish cities and suburbs. But neither the Swedish Defense Ministry nor Foreign Office have heard of the expert. Nils Bildt, who called for an “open and honest” debate on crime, has previously been convicted of a violent offence in the United States. hmm...

I looked this up kinda expecting it was the usual goon deal, where something vaguely similar had happened and a lot of assumptions were made to fit a confirmation bias But nope, dude literally lived and co-owned in a place that was known for being a 24/7 gay webcam fuckfest, literally got caught cruising for prostitute group sex with his friends Now I wasn't surprised that he was gay cuz.... duh. But I never realized he has a wife and 4 kids. Kinda curious if he just doesn't care about GOP hating gays because he wants that sweet sweet power, or if he's one of those "I'm not gay cuz I'm the one putting my dick in the rentboys and not the other way round" type of deals all of this is to say: lol

I had a big thing typed out here about how a somehow worse thought is that the country was already full of complete loon retards bullshitting their way through life, and maybe it'll end up being good to have a string of increasingly indefensible events to recursively weed out and test the mettle of moderate vs. extreme Trump voters, but the crux of my post relied on one sentence, like from a history book, that totally defeats any jibber jabber I could come up with: In 2016, the Democrats fumbled and allowed a win by Donald Trump. Sad!

Trump is obviously unhinged now, and he was obviously unhinged when he ran, but for whatever reason a lot of republicans and conservatives seem to follow blindly if they're told a candidate is on "their side". I hate typing such biased things, but it's pretty obvious Trump is not a god-fearing Christian man, nor does he have much respect for blue-collar laborers beyond being willing to sign a bill "protecting coal jobs" though he certainly doesn't know what that means. Now that Trump's fumbling around in office and making some really stupid errors, the options are either: admit you were taken in by somebody who doesn't actually know what they're doing, or: double down on your choice and choose to believe you made the correct choice and it must be a conspiracy that all of the skeletons in Trumps closet are being pulled out into view. It does seem cultlike at first glance, but support for Trump is eroding. It's tough for people to admit they got scammed - they get a sort of Stockholm Syndrome, in that everybody thinks everybody else are the naive ones. Trump supporters are the same way, they just happen to have a good little echo chamber going for the moment.

I hate typing such biased things, but it's pretty obvious Trump is not a god-fearing Christian man, nor does he have much respect for blue-collar laborers beyond being willing to sign a bill "protecting coal jobs" though he certainly doesn't know what that means. From a paper on the hallmarks of a cult: The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader, and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law. Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished. Mind-altering practices (such as meditation, chanting, speaking in tongues, denunciation sessions, or debilitating work routines) are used in excess and serve to suppress doubts about the group and its leader(s). The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (e.g., members must get permission to date, change jobs, or marryor leaders prescribe what to wear, where to live, whether to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth). The group is elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for itself, its leader(s), and its members (e.g., the leader is considered the Messiah, a special being, an avataror the group and/or the leader is on a special mission to save humanity). The group has a polarized, us-versus-them mentality, which may cause conflict with the wider society. The leader is not accountable to any authorities (unlike, for example, teachers, military commanders, or ministers, priests, monks, and rabbis of mainstream religious denominations). The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (e.g., lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities). The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt in order to influence and control members. Often this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion. Subservience to the leader or group requires members to cut ties with family and friends, and radically alter the personal goals and activities they had before joining the group. The group is preoccupied with bringing in new members. The group is preoccupied with making money. Members are expected to devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group-related activities.
