I bought a sous vide thing a few weeks ago and made an incredible medium rare ribeye. As long as you get at least an inch and a half thick (this really matters) cut you really can't mess it up.

Sous vide is pretty good. Plus you can prebag all your meats with their corresponding aromatics freeze them as they will be vacuum sealed anyway. Then you just watch for the meat sales and save!
