I bought new pants this week from Uni Qlo and they have a free in store hemming service. They did a great job with it too.

I've been to my local Golden Corral and several other buffets multiple times over the years and the worst I've ever experienced was eavesdropping on a conversation about Catholicism that started out pretty cool (I both am Catholic and was a medieval studies major with a big interest in theology) but then devolved into talking about how Hollywood hated Mel Gibson but Passion of the Christ made more money than any other movie ever (it didn't) and was filmed in the Gobi Desert (no).
