Per Eurogamer the Switch only draws 16W when docked. Redditors are postulating that in portable mode it probably draws closer to 10-11W, which means that my LG V20's 13.5W charger might be able to supply the Switch with enough charge to play (and maybe even trickle charge slightly). Assuming the Switch tells the charger it's capible of receiving that amount of power, of course.

I didn't die once and it took 4 hours. Still had fun bc that game owns. Went to the SF switch event. Very very impressed with Nintendo and how they took care of their guests. Upon entering there was a group of ten or so that would cheer for each person coming in. It's a really nice thing and puts you in a great mood. If you've never had people cheering for you like that, I heartily recommend it. I wonder if this is a Japanese thing. I've experienced at other events but always from a Japan based organization. We played: 1 - 2 Switch. The smile on my gfs face made it an obvious buy. 2 - Has Been Heroes - worth $20 but no more. 3 - Snipperclips - Gonna be fun to play through once. But should be worth the time and money. 4 - Arms - If boxing is your thing, a great game. If you don't like boxing, easy pass. Not that it is bad, but it's still just a boxing game. 5 - Bummer Man - Total and complete piece of poo poo. It looks so much worse in person. Least impressive game by far. 6 - Zelda - Awesome. 7 - Street Fighter - Yawn 8 - Mario Kart 8 - Mario Kart 8 9 - Fast Racing whatever - Biggest surprise for me. It is very fast but very fun. It is fast. 10 - Disgea 5 - Uh. I'm sure it is fine for what it is. Not familiar with the series so no frame of reference. Did not play: Dance crap, Puyo Tetris, Splatoon, Skylanders or Sonice. Splatoon line was long and didn't feel like staying any more. Lines in general were 5 mins or so. The switch is not going to be good for play on the go. It is heavy. It is large. Whenever I played in tablet mode it was very obvious how big and heavy it was. It feels like it weighs about as much as a Wii U gamepad w/ the big battery. The joycons are tiny and would not be comfortable for long play sessions. The Pro Controller is far and away the best of the control options. The joy cons in the dock feel awkward. The buttons just feel like they are off by an inch or so.
