That 38 hit would've been a caution last year but we have stages now so no caution?

Danica Patrick is currently 10th in points.

Woooh Danica is unstoppable this year. Gonna get enough tenths to make the chase.

Yeah our strategy was great thank goodness the rookie crashed or we would all be a lap down now.

This is what turns me off of NASCAR every year. Do your stages, do your cautions, I don't care, but holy loving poo poo will you please go back racing ASAP.

7 caution laps. NASCAR needs to tighten that up.
|
# ? Feb 26, 2017 21:46 |

Yeah, I really don't get why the caution laps should count there on an intentional caution under this system. If you're advertising 60 60 80, then do that, not 60 52 and I guess 72.
|
# ? Feb 26, 2017 21:53 |

7 caution laps even though there was nothing wrong on track, lots of commercials. Under green for a few laps, back to commercials.

Curious to see how iracing implements this format lmao

I'm liking the format so far tbh, in spite of itself. If they can tone down the canned "wow! this is exciting!!" remarks and tighten up the cautions it'd be pretty solid. Too bad all the extra points mean gently caress-all with the chase still around.

yall are getting soft, they literally stopped the race to interview the segment winner by radio if they axed the caution, it would just be another dumb ignorable point system though

I've enjoyed what's not been under caution

I can't see any overly fierce racing at, say, Atlanta unless somebody's got a great shot at winning a segment, but I'm totally down with the segments and think it actually might be a bit of an improvement and I can't believe I'm typing this. I refuse to call them Stages, though. e- That crunch you heard was the sound of NASCAR's ratings for the rest of the day going down the toilet.

The crash clock rule hurting Junior in the first real race is probably exactly what NASCAR wanted to avoid in regards to people being super annoyed with it
