Pokka will likely never get a chance here with the emergence of Forsling, so heading out of town would probably be the best for him. Re-signing Rozsival also means they could deal TvR, too, instead of potentially losing him for nothing in the expansion draft.

It's more that Pitts and the Caps are pretty tough matchups and we KNOW the Rangers D is terrible e: they have a great goal differential because they can (usually) score a lot of goals, and they can (usually) get good goaltending. The D is fine if they can quickly regain the puck and start the other way but they are terrible at defending a cycle and horrendous in front of their own net

Scoring usually tightens up in the playoffs and the defense is Bad. Maybe Smith changes things, maybe not. I'm not being chicken little here but if they go through the Metro I don't like their chances, goal differential or not.
