Racism is just a really easy way to classify people in a hierarchy, 1800's deep south you just look at a guy who's black on the road and you're like "That dude belongs in a cotton field not walking around" It's an expedient way of identifying people and since they're different it's easy to dehumanize them

Imo political views are a circle rather than a line. Go too far right and you end up resembling the left and vice versa. Both sides have racists, either through "kill whiteys" or "kill muslims". Its an eternal culture war and what needs to happen is people say "you know what this actually is all bullshit" and topple the political elite. A lot of people supporting Trump either think hes legit going to MAGA or that things need to burn down and hit rock bottom before it changes. Because the status quo has been the same and has been poo poo for 2 decades now.

I'm from an area that had real cultural heritage, unique language food and religion. Now it's pretty much just generic poor white people with an accent.
