In theory, Parsons was Gordon Hayward lite, and considering what swingmen were getting in the offseason it seemed like a reasonable gamble

He can't even shoot anymore, it's a shame. He's legit one of the worst offensive players in the NBA this year and he gets $25 million a year for 3 more years.

I have no idea what old rear end Zach Randolph, Tony Allen, and Vince Carter will get for contracts this offseason but them and JaMychal Green are all free agents and in the top 6 of minutes played for the Grizz this year. And they already have $92 million committed to payroll for 2017/2018.

RIP grit and grind

Specifically the last 2 weeks or so before his last injury in Dallas. He was playing the best basketball of his career. I can understand why a team gambled on him. In the end I'm glad the Mavs didn't make that gamble.

I keep expecting some kind of Johnny Manziel tier story about how Parsons has been under a pile of cocaine and pussy so high he lost the ability to play professionally but it seems like he just came up lame as hell.

It turns out the way to fix the Mavs was cutting DWill, trading Bogut + Anderson for a guy having problems getting off the Sixers' bench, and picking up an undrafted rookie that was cut by the Nets.

Flashes of a good shooting and passing. Needs to get stronger. Will at least be an acceptable rotation player by year 3. I want the Mavs to keep him for a while to see what he can develop into. I think Mavs have improved at getting young players since Michael Finley + Donnie Nelson have been able to override Cuban on everything.

Cavaliers also had a 25 3P game in the playoffs last year. Also, against the Hawks.

The actual greatest 3P game is held by Seattle in a playoff game against the Rockets in 1996. They went 20for27. Taking nearly 30 3P shots and shooting at nearly 75%.
