Honestly, I'm white but my partner isn't, we've been trying to put together plans for our next vacation maybe 6 months out, and we recently nixed the American options over this kind of poo poo. I just don't like the uncertainty, even if it's probably overblown, but there is a non zero chance it could gently caress up the whole trip and waste a lot of money and time. There are plenty of other places in the world we haven't seen yet that won't potentially detain or turn you back in an airport because president babyman had a bad day and wrote something on twitter. Or that will specifically force me to unlock my poo poo and pull up a post saying "president babyman" and deny me on that alone.

Yeah, I just don't want the hassle and even a small chance of something going wrong. There's already enough poo poo that can go wrong if you're travelling; no place in the US is special enough for me to add a whole new thing that could go wrong, or support them financially.
