Winkie01 posted:https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/03/07/health/risk-of-losing-health-insurance-in-republican-plan.html This whole idea in the news that the new plan is paying people less than the ACA is irrelevant; it ignores the real issue. The lady in this story will go from paying just $260 per month to having to pay $984 per month, out of her pocket, without any monthly subsidy to help pay for the coverage. I seriously doubt she can pay that and not starve or go without some form of essentials in the process. This bill will force her to drop coverage or do without food and other necessities.

Measure S, for those of you (un)lucky enough to not live in Los Angeles, is an attempt to freeze all residential development for two years pending review of each individual project by a board it is the stupidest poo poo ever and is the brain child of a guy who "runs" an AIDS foundation (read: treats it like a personal slush fund) and is really mad about the view from his townhouse getting cluttered with apartment blocks

I'm not glad that she's going to die, but I've got a limited amount of Care to go around and have none to spare for Trump voters. You were warned that this was a massively terrible idea that would kill millions, deal with it like the people you foisted this poo poo on will have to. Plus, she likely voted straight ticket Republican in NC where they had spent months and months doing the worst kind of illegal voter suppression. She supported that

Honestly, I still think there's something to the theory the polls were literally sabotaged, and frankly I don't care if I'm wrong or not because "Obama was born in Kenya" and Donny's investigators are going to come back from Hawaii with proof any second now.
