That'd be from Pocket Fighter, where all the characters look like that and have those kind of dumb combos. My favorite is Zangief, who has a combo that ends with you sitting across a table from him, where he loses his temper and flips it at you. It's a dumb game.

To be fair, Nier:Automata was done by the same team that did MG:R and published by the studio that did FFXV. It's had a lot of great press, too, especially considering the kinda 'meh' reception that Nier and Drakengard 3 got. It also helps that it's an amazing game to play. The combat feels even smoother than MG:R did, even the small-time characters have a lot of nice detail attached to them, and some of the sections are downright gorgeous to look at. If you couldn't tell, this game has taken up a lot of my free time since Tuesday.
