Bang Dream's gotten really good lately. I really like the character writing around the latest drama, the visual style reminds me of a KyoAni in a few ways (though certainly not in terms of raw production quality), and I'm enjoying the music quite a bit. It's not going to unseat MaiDragon for my AOTS or anything, but it's certainly making a strong push to take second place away from GabDro.

That's why it resonates so strongly with some people, IMO, and why it deserves to be remembered. I was a high school band nerd. I'm now an adult band nerd. I don't like Euphonium, and really don't relate at all. Animation is excellent, the mechanics of the instruments are excellently portrayed, etc, but I saw no reason to watch S2 after absolutely nothing happened in S1.
