Granted, a lot of the best QBs didn't throw at the combine

Mike Glennon threw the same velocity as Watson

That's a nice set of 11 dynasty points there, it would be a shame if 3 rings were to happen with it

How high is he going to go?

Dak Prescott, Mississippi State 54

edit: I'm worried he'll go in the first before the Chiefs even get a chance on him.

I'd take Mahomes in the second round but I doubt he drops that far

Not especially interested in taking him in the first

kiimo
Jul 24, 2003

Well yeah he probably isn't worth a first round. But considering the Chiefs haven't drafted a QB in the first since 1983 and that their areas of need are running back, wide receiver and linebacker and this draft is full of them I have zero problem with the Chiefs using this year, the perfect year, to take a QB. Alex Smith will play two more years and then we give a young QB a chance for the first time since I had baby teeth.

The Chiefs would be a good landing spot for Mahomes to unlearn all the bullshit they run at Texas Tech for a couple of years

Number 1's for each year, in reverse order

Paxton Lynch 59

Bryan Bennett 60

Logan Thomas 60

Tyler Bray 59

Brandon Weeden 59

Colin Kaepernick 59

Levi Brown 56

John Parker Wilson 58

Paul Smith 57

clearly this is the most relevant factor when determining who is the best QB in the draft

And he'll need somewhere that he can just sit and learn for at least one full year and preferably 1 1/2 to 2 in order to have a real chance in my opinion.

I just don't see it happening unless Andy absolutely loves him and convinces Dorsey. Also I think there's a law against the Chiefs doing that with a first round pick, and it seems like the hype has gone too far with Mahomes for him to last to anywhere near where he should be drafted.

I thought the same thing but virtually no one throws below 49/50 and most of the best prospects never throw at the combine so it's not a good data point.

I'd be willing to bet the lower guys end up having to use their entire body to get it down field, like Glennon and Watson.

Yep. Too high seems like a red flag too which makes sense considering you want to throw catchable balls with accuracy instead of just cannon blasts.

I don't think Garrett's gonna be bad, per se, I just think he's got a lot of work to do on his pass rushing and run defending skills. He's all motor and strength. He's got that in spades too.

It's just a weak draft class at the top this year. Sad for Browns. Sad for all Browns.

Perhaps you posted that as a sad joke (a sad, yet preferable, outcome).

Otherwise, you opted to declare that you take the rebellious stance of supporting (in your words) "a woman beater", and somehow you think that the TFF posters forced your hand.

(Much like Mixon forced his hand on the beaten woman)

Doltos, the potential merit of your draft analysis is rendered moot when your moral compass is so visibly broken.
