When I went to elementary and middle school in florida, our milk also came in plastic bags for lunch. If you didn't havee a straw, you could nibble off a corner and drink from it that way.

I had those cheap little milk bags in California, I also remember an advertisement on our wall that proudly showed a pile of used bags, neatly stacked, next to a larger pile of wasteful cartons. The last 25% of the bag tasted extremely different, made the whole experience gross as hell to me.
