I'm on PS4 so I keep the FoV at the low end. Not because I sit far enough away from the TV for it to not matter but because the frame rate gets a little wonky the further up you go. It's not unplayable it just becomes inconsistent which feels bad.

i went up in FOV from 70 to 90 and that seems way better but it made my head hurt for like the first four matches. It's my primary for my anti-titan class, the damage is actually middling to passable if you can hit the weak points. It's true that you'll lose most face offs with SMGs, but if you get the drop on someone the missiles melt people pretty fast as well. I mostly use it in the second third of the round if the enemy team gets a few titans before us, for short to medium range stuff while I'm evading until i can get my titan down.

Yeah, it's a known issue with some of the watery portions in Angel City. Just don't embark your titan out there and you'll be golden till they put the fix in.

Played a bunch of LTS last night due to the whole Double XP thing. Whole lot of pubbies playing it seems, people using poo poo like loving assault chip which is worse than useless in a game mode you virtually never step outside your robot. That's what, taking place of something useful like overcore/turbo engine?? Idiots. *though I suppose that could be explained by regenerating resetting everything I suppose (why hasn't that been patched?) My most frustrating deaths are getting punted up when a Titan I'm rodeo'ing self-destructs. The ejecting pilot always ends up way above me and kills me mid-air before I can track them  OTOH I'm getting really good at ejecting and accurately dropping frags from mid-air. Those are always satisfying kills

Sidewinder?). The SMR is the Sidewinder and I highly doubt they'd be stupid enough to put in a regular Smart Pistol. I think the game's weak DLC support was inevitable, it didn't sell well on launch and it doesn't have a monetized loot box system like its competitors to rake in money, and its microtransactions probably weren't enough to draw EA to back big DLC pushes. Couple that with Respawn taking off for the holidays and we are where we are today. Game development isn't cheap and these are for profit companies. Paid DLC might split the player base, but free DLC isn't as worthwhile for them to bother with. Honestly they should just let people buy Advocate Gifts, they're basically loot boxes. I dunno man, give some way for idiots to throw money at EA, it's how Mass Effect multiplayer worked and the free DLC support for that game was phenomenal.
