I have heard that the switch version has some kind of rudimentary co-op functions in it and the 3ds doesn't. other than that I dunno.

Nothing. It's great. I meant I don't feel like buying it just for it right now. The joycon grip is comfortable and fine otherwise imo.

You don't need d-pads and poo poo to play games like blastermaster just get em and play them with your friends on the joycons, that's the point of this easy-ease multiplayer console

Switch Blaster Master Zero has controller rumble, and some dumb co-op mode wherein player 2 just controls a crosshair on the screen to shoot enemies. Otherwise, it's supposed to be 100% identical to the 3DS version.

Just on a side-note with the Switch in general, I'm kinda impressed how well they've managed to squeeze two reasonably-comfortable controllers out of the Joycons on their side. The SL/SR buttons are a genius touch.

:allears: just like Mario Galaxy

This trickle of indie and/or retro games in between releases is great. I think I have about a week of Zelda left in me, and then it's all cheap/short games until Puyo Puyo Tetris, plus maybe Binding of Isaac? I'm probably not buying Mario Kart 8 a second time, even with battle mode, unless my girlfriend asks me to specifically. She still plays it on Wii U sometimes.

I read somewhere that Binding Of Isaac is slated for this week in the states? Release dates have been getting pretty jumbled.

I'm hesitant since that 40$ price is a biiiit much, but I haven't bought Isaac since Rebirth came out, maybe I'm due.

Yeah, comes out Friday. If you have Amazon Prime in the states, preordering a physical copy drops it down to $32.

Edit: poo poo, never mind. Looks like it's sold out.

If it helps, remember that it includes all the current DLC. That's like $36 if you don't buy it on sale for PC. http://store.steampowered.com/app/250900/

Deceptively long list this week.

In both regions, the ACA NeoGeo games released till now have received a patch this week to fix the sound and lighting issues with them. King of Fighters '94 has dropped also. Blaster Master Zero has also received the patch to add Pro Controller support to it. Apparently Super Bomberman R is getting a patch this week also, to fix "gameplay, control input and character control" issues, so hopefully that'll fix the input lag which people had complained about. This patch is showing a date of March 16 for NA, and March 17 for Europe/Japan. Not sure what's up with that.

In PAL region, 2 TG-16 games (Dungeon Explorer and Neutopia) on the WiiU Virtual Console. No sign of BOI Afterbirth+ though, sadly. There's also a launch promotion for Sky Force Anniversary, with 20% off.

In NA, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is released, having been delayed from Switch's launch. There's also Picross 3D on the WiiU Virtual Console. It's a great game.
