Okay, imagine you have a family and gotta work, but you're laid off. You get a LWLH job, 20-30 hours a week at half your prior wage. You get 2 more to round out a 75 hour work week. Lost 1 job, gained 3 jobs since! THE ECONOMY IS FINE ThndrShk2k has issued a correction as of 07:02 on Mar 17, 2017 |

Imagine how many of those guys need 2nd jobs but don't have time due to their require responsibility to work Literal middle management slavery.

The one thing you absolutely can''t do in a capitalist hierarchy is gently caress over the middle classes, but that's exactly what American capital has been doing for the last couple of decades. This reminds me of that massive class action suit against Carl's Jr. where they were stealing wages from franchise managers by forcing them to declare overtime hours as vacations.

Look at much money we're saving! also managers at LWHH jobs don't get paid enough to afford their insurance (especially if they have a family to cover) but working for a company that offers qualifying health insurance (which can be crap at a crap price) also means you can't get subsidies to off-set insurance costs even if you went to the exchange. I heard the HR director complain that it was unfair that service managers at my old company couldn't afford the insurance they were required to have and I wanted to punch her in her fat overpaid face.

Just got a survey email from my congressman (Joe Kennedy, reasonably woke and an adorable ginger) with all free-response text input fields (as opposed to radio buttons letting you choose between lovely stock answers) and was able to fill my response with extremely socialist rants. Even snuck in a shot at neighboring district rep Stephen Lynch, who sucks. felt p good, hopefully the intern in charge of reading the survey responses will spend more than two seconds skimming it
