I really don't like it when people skip around others work or just start being critical immediately without fully going through the whole thing. I don't think it's helpful. Like go through it all first, make notes but take in the work fully.

Hey CP e-mail me at ponderdogproductions@gmail.com, don't have PM. I kind of like the opening with an empty hand, ideas of lending a head but perverted with cash etc... Money and Capitalism play a big role in the movie.

My business partner/co-director edits the films. First time I didn't see it scene by scene, waited till it was done. Think it worked better this time, I was the one who suggested extending and lingering on shots haha

Beauty and the Beast is well done with good moments and musical sequences but basically just a beat for beat retread of the movie and it felt paced as if to say okay now we have to get through this scene to get to the next scene so we can cover the same ground. Maleficient at least presented something more interesting. Cinderella had better pacing.

An old co-worker of mine at a restaurant auditioned(applied? not sure what the right term is for reality tv) for the show well before this, and said he was turned down for being too competent and not crazy. Seemed like a boast at the time.

Timby posted:A week ago, my wife got just so completely hammer-drunk, more drunk than I've ever seen her in the 13 years I've known her, and her selected programming was three episodes of NBC's This Is Us (which is basically non-stop misery porn) followed by 50 / 50 and finally Newsies. My girlfriend watches this show. It is basically non stop miserable porn. No matter how good it seems like its going to end up, there's always something.

This Is Us is lame because they have Sterling K Brown on it and they waste time having scenes about not-Sterling K Brown.

This didn't turn out quite as well as I hoped. I may need to find an actual tube tv, play the footage on it and run fake blood down the screen. The first part is the hardest since they're basically extinct and no one has had them for about a decade. I've been to half a dozen second hand shops and goodwill stores but not a single one of them had any non-flatscreen tvs.

Yo, Hard to Be a God is pre' keen, kinda like a hodgepodge of Andrei Rublev, Man Bites Dog, and Von Trier's The Castle. Low-key, it's probably one of the best found-footage movies of all time.

You may need to take a break, and it's maximal anti-prestige art film poo poo, but overall it's actually one of those weird cases where the narrative is so loose and the visual focus so pervasive that the three-hours goes by relatively quickly.
